Our History
Founded in 1896 to manufacture pipework, Wattiaux soon moved into heating and sanitary installations, and success followed quickly. The expertise of our staff, together with a way of working our customers have valued over all these years, is what the Wattiaux name is known for.
The Wattiaux family, at the head of the company for three generations, stepped back in 2001. The business kept its independence and its values, and is still owned by individuals who handle the day-to-day running of the work.
Over the decades the registered office moved from Villers-Perwin to Frasnes-lez-Gosselies, then Trazegnies, and finally to Nivelles, where it stands today in an easily accessible building on the southern business park of Nivelles.
During the 2000s, the significant technological upheavals in our sector profoundly changed our organisation and our structure. We installed our first solar thermal panels in 2004, our first gas condensing boilers in 2005 and our first oil condensing boilers in 2007.
In 2007 the company name was changed from "Wattiaux SA" to "Wattiaux Group SA".
